Any Body Can Dance (2013): Sadda Dil Vi Tu Ga Ga Ganpati
had all the blessings of Ganesha. No wonder all the film’s Ganpati songs were big hits, just like the film. And as Prabhudheva says, ‘any body can dance’ when it comes to Ganpaticelebrations.
Agneepath (2012): Deva Shree Ganesha
From the remake of the 1990 cult film starring Hrithik Roshan, this song is a real treat. A larger than life film set, Hrithik and Priyanka’s screen presence and Ajay Gogavale’s devotional voice make this number a Ganesh Chaturthianthem.
Wanted (2009): Mera Hi Jalwa
This is probably the only song that’s not a but is a super hit among Ganeshadevotees nevertheless. Salman Khan might also have a lot to do with the massive success of this number. And with Prabhudheva, Govinda and Anil Kapoor joining in, this one just had to be a hit with the masses.
Don (2006): Morya Re
After Hrithik and Salman, it’s time to shake your leg with the king himself, Shah Rukh Khan. The number from the 2006 remake of Amitabh Bachchan’s , showcases the festival of Ganesh Chaturthi in all its splendour. Shankar Mahadevan’s voice is a perfect match for Shah Rukh’s dance moves.

This song is a personal favourite. In the booming voice of Shankar Mahadevan, this from the Amitabh Bachchan starrer will never fail to touch your soul, bringing out the spiritual side of you as Ganpati madness takes over the city.
Vaastav (1999): Sindoor Lal Chadayo
As the film reaches its climax this became a symbol of the good defeating the evil. This devotional track from has a Maharashtrian flavour to it and is played without fail, year after year, in every Ganpati pandal.
Mahaanta (1997): Deva O Deva Ganpati Deva
There just had to be a Ganpati song picturised on Madhuri Dixit. So here it is, not one but two songs! One from the 1997 film and the other from the 1993 film What makes these songs special are Madhuri’s graceful dance moves. And what better way to bring in than to dance along with Madhuri.
Aasoo Bane Angaarey (1993): Ganapati Bappa Agle Baras
Marathi Madhuri Dixit is again seen here dancing on the streets of Mumbai praying to Ganpati asking him to come early next year.
