Ivanka Trump Visits Golkonda Fort, Describes India Visit a 'Very Special Experience'
Hyderabad, November 29: Ivanka Trump, the advisor and daughter of US President Donald Trump, visited the historic Golkonda Fort along with senior officials on Wednesday. She termed her visit to the Fort as "amazing".Ivanka was a key speaker at the Global Entrepreneurship Summit held in Hyderabad. "The conference and summit were phenomenal. Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Cabinet members who were with him were incredibly warm and gracious. It was overall a very special experience," Ivanka said.
Ivanka skipped a visit to the 16th century mosque Charminar and shopping at the Lad Bazar due to security reasons, reports said.
Before leaving for the historic monument, Ivanka hosted lunch at Hotel trident for the US business delegates attending the summit.
A high-level security is in place and 10,000 extra security forces has been brought in, including anti-terrorist forces and dog squads.
She led the US contingent at the three-day Global Entrepreneurship Summit, which has 'Women First, Prosperity for All' as its theme. Ivanka, 36, has travelled to India before, but this is her maiden trip to the country as a senior presidential advisor. Accompanied by several top administrations official, a large number of Indian Americans are part of her delegation, which numbers 350 from 38 states..
