Sui Dhaaga: Not just Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif is also in the film - Spoiler Alert!
The much-awaited Yash Raj Films (YRF) movie Sui Dhaaga is finally out in theatres. Starring Varun Dhawan and Anushka Sharma, the film has got mixed reviews from critics but fans seem to be loving this heartland family drama. While, Anushka and Varun are the lead stars of the film, those who have seen Sui Dhaaga will know that Katrina Kaif is also in the movie.
Wait...don’t get all excited. At the end of the movie, Varun Dhawan is heard narrating the forward story of the couple (Mauji and Mamta), after their business is successfully set up. Through a series of pictures, Mauji tells the story ahead and in one of the pictures, Mauji and Mamta are in their own showroom with Katrina Kaif modelling in their designed and created outfit. Now, whether, this was a photoshopped attempt or if Katrina really did do the smallest of cameos for the film, it’s hard to tell. But, on paper, she is in the film for however short time.
Both Anushka and Varun have vehemently promoted their film on every available platform. The two actors travelled across the country to ensure that audiences know about their film. Add to that, their marketing campaign that also includes empowering local artisans and tailors and getting them into the limelight has helped with the overall buzz of the film.
