Actor Ashwin surprised his fans by releasing few horrific snaps this Halloween. He then mentioned that the snaps were to promote his forthcoming flick, horror fantasy Zero. The still showed Ashwin as priest in one of the pictures and in the lap of a skeleton sitting in a chair in the other.

"Director Shiv Mohaa's idea was to pay tribute to iconic horror films like Psycho, The Shining, The Exorcist, Omen and Sigappu Rojakkal all through the week leading up to the film's release. Sshivada (the female lead) and I dressed up as those characters for this photoshoot, which was fun", said Ashwin.

However, in order to avoid any confusion or give the audiences impression that it’s a spoof, the filmmakers avoided using the images. The Mankatha actor is also shooting for Thiri, Thollaikatchi and Idhu vedhalam Sollum Kadhai.
