dr asha The Opposition party in Gujarat Assembly moved a no confidence motion against Speaker Rajendra Trivedi on Wednesday. The Speaker had suspended Congress MLA from Unjha, Dr Asha Patel, for using unconstitutional words, which Congress called the Speaker's bias and prejudiced approach towards the Opposition member. All the opposition members walked out and sat in front of Speaker's chamber in protest for two hours , As Reported By DNAIndia.

According to the Newspaper,At the end of the day, the deputy leader of Opposition moved the no confidence motion against the Speaker, that was supported by 20 opposition MLAs. Trivedi had suspended several Congress MLAs for creating a ruckus and rushing into the well near the Speaker's chair. He also asked the ruling party to bring motion to suspended Dr Asha Patel, which was passed. "The Speaker displayed biased and prejudiced behaviour to hide the failure of ruling party in the House," said Leader of Opposition, Paresh Dhanani. "We have to move this motion heavy-heartedly as the Opposition's voice has been suppressed in House.
